26th & 27th August 2017
Craig Penny – acrylic artist is coming to Brisbane! We are flying him up from Melbourne to teach a 2 day workshop in our Brisbane studio at Artful Snippets Studio and Art School. Immerse yourself in the wonderful medium of acrylic painting.
See Craig's work in his Colour In Your Life T.V episode on YouTube!
Artists with any level of experience are welcome in this workshop. Come along and enjoy learning more about this wonderful art form with guidance and teaching through painting beach scenes, water, reflections, boats and a street scene. Experience a variety of approaches including - learn how Craig uses very few brushes to blend colours to achieve both a painterly and atmospheric scene.
Suitable for beginners to advanced levels of experience.
"I like to think that to paint a successful painting is not so much to have tamed the beast, rather to have been taken along for the ride and still be there at the end of the experience.
For me painting is like life … giving yourself enough skill, knowledge and integrity and then letting yourself free to take what is thrown your way.
You don't need to tame and control it for magic to happen... you just need to be there at the end."
